What data we collect

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, graduation year, program, section, employer name, job title, and office address. You may optionally provide a profile photo, bio, work schedule, and social media links.

Your office address is converted to geographic coordinates (geocoded) so your pin can appear on the alumni map.

How your data is used

Your profile information is displayed to other approved members on the interactive map and in the alumni directory. Your data is not sold, shared with, or disclosed to any third parties.

You can control which optional fields are visible to other members through your profile settings.

Where your data is hosted

This platform is hosted in US East (Virginia) — Vercel + Supabase. The application runs on Vercel's edge network and data is stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database.

Cookies & analytics

We use a single session cookie for authentication (Supabase auth JWT). No third-party tracking cookies are used.

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to monitor application performance. These tools collect anonymous, aggregated performance data and do not track individual users or collect personal information.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting toskajason@gmail.com. Upon request, your profile, posts, comments, and uploaded files will be permanently removed.
